Eat, Drink, and Be Merry

'Tis the season to eat, drink, and be merry. And you should do so without feeling bad about it.

The holiday season is one of the few times a year we can enjoy an abundance of foods and drink our fill with friends and family. Enjoy life, live it to the fullest. But try not to over-indulge to the point of making yourself feel sick. (There are negative health consequences involved with over-eating in a single meal, but I'll spare you the lecture. Google it if you are curious.)

Rather than feeling guilty (which is not good for you), enjoy yourself this season. If you are blessed with an abundance of food and gifts, consider giving to a local charity. It turns out that giving is good for you, too.

Make a commitment to your health today - enjoy life and be mindful of moderation.

And please don't drink and drive. If you think you have a problem with alcohol, please seek help. https://www.aa.org/
