Always Follow Your Heart

You may have been motivated to come to this office by pain, stiffness, soreness, or the dreaded “pinched nerve”. Chiropractic offices are full of people suffering from spinal nerve irritation which causes arm pain, leg pain, tingling or even numbness all the way into the hands or feet.

Sometimes I fail to remind you that the spinal nerves also supply our organs such as the heart, lungs, liver, kidneys, colon, etc. For example, the heart muscle is supplied by three different areas of the spine. Interesting.  Thank goodness it just keeps going and going and going.

Chiropractic care is a bit beyond pain -- unfortunately, we will all experience pain. Ideally, your pain levels are nonexistent or minimal but spinal misalignments and structural defects can affect our organ function over time. This is why, for many patients in this office, maintenance care becomes part of their regular health and wellness care. Remember, the best time to get adjusted is when you are feeling well.

Not only is the month of February known for Valentine's Day, it is also Heart Health Month.

Make a commitment to your healthy heart today.

Stay well adjusted,

Dr. Dan Kammer
